This developer/ programmer must have professional experience working on challenging projects. Strong interpersonal and motivational skills are also required in order to meet strict deadlines. In addition, the programmer must be able to accurately explain the technology to other team members.

The ideal candidate is:

- 2+ years experience

- BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

- Cold Fusion programming experience 2+ years

- If applicant does not have experience using Cold Fusion, extensive knowledge of another web-based application development language such as (but not limited to) PHP, Pearl, and/ or Java is required

- Experience with XML and dynamic content management, relational database design and SQL programming preferred

- Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop knowledge preferred

- Ability to work in collaborative environments

Individual would not be required to move to Shreveport for this job unless they wanted to. Synapse Multimedia was opened in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1999. We currently work with over 200 clients on a regular basis and offer Website design, custom programming, hosting, consulting, and 2D/ 3D animation.
