It never occurred to me that FireFox would be ok on MAC.  This will be
sufficient for backoffices and intranet use where we're sure of the browser
being used.

I use the FCK Editor. It's open source, has a copy from Word option as well.
It's a pretty good RTE.

Thanks guys for your suggestions on subversion.  I?ll check it out.
 
Here?s a new quest.  What WYSIWYG editor do you use for backoffices on
Textareas?   I?m looking for one that can clean Word html, use external
stylesheets, create standards-compliant xhtml, and most of all - one that
will work on Safari for MAC.  It can be flash or plug-in dependant and it
needs to allow mutiple instances on one page.
