*Duties: *This position is responsible for designing, programming, and
maintaining web-based applications, including K2Share's core products. This
may include working directly with clients to define and meet their decision
support and data access requirements.

  - Back-end development using ColdFusion MX, SQL Server, and XML
  - Work harmoniously with project team including designers, analysts,
  and users
  - Assist in outlining technical requirements and flag issues that
  effect scope
  - Participate in all phases of software development life cycle
  - Conduct quality assurance and load testing
  - Research relevant technologies, suggesting their use on related
  projects and share findings with team

*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* The ideal candidate will have proven
ColdFusion development experience, including the following skills:

  - Two or more years related Web programming experience
  - Comprehension of front-end technologies including: HTML, XHTML, CSS,
  and JavaScript
  - Extensive experience with developing web applications using
  ColdFusion
  - Extensive knowledge of ColdFusion Components (CFC's)
  - Working knowledge of CFUnit framework
  - Knowledge and experience designing secure applications
  - Strong communication skills both written and verbal

*Preferred Skills:*

  - Solid understanding of relational database design and the SQL
  language
  - Experience with grant management systems
  - Development experience with Flash
  - Experience using load testing packages (i.e. JMeter)

*Education:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work
experience.

*Compensation:* Salary will be commensurate with education and experience
