Good morning all, My company recently experienced issues with one user who has been posting harassing and abusive messages on our forums. We have tracked him to several user accounts (we verify email address for the accounts) and shut those accounts down. We have also tracked his IP address and will prevent him from using that IP address again to access our forums.
Now that we have dealt with this user we are looking at ways to prevent this type of abuse from occurring in the future or at minimum ways to detect and handle abuse like this quickly. Any suggestions on approaches to detecting and preventing future occurrences like this would be appreciated.
