Thank you Daniel! I switched to POST vs. GET. Seems to be working now. You made my day!

You need to either use POST ajax requests or append a random number to your GET ajax request URLs. -Daniel Elmore -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ron Mast Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2007 9:12 AM To: Dallas/Fort Worth ColdFusion User Group Mailing List Subject: [DFW CFUG] cache issue Morning All, I am working on Truth Hardware's new vacation form and I'm using AJAX. I'm using the following resolutions that I have come across googling: 1. <META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE"> on the index.cfm file. 2. <cfsetting showdebugoutput="No"><cfcache action="CLIENTCACHE"><cfcache actiona="FLUSH"> 3. Under IIS Manager on the server - right clicked the vacation folder and did properties: Under HTTP Headers I checked enable content expiration and selected expire immediately. 4. and lastly SSL pages are suppose to NOT cache pages (????) With all of the above applied, I cannot get my application to work properly without having to do the following in IE7: Go to Tools | Internet Options | Settings under browsing history | check - Every time I visit the webpage. Populating the form works great. It's the clicking on the calendar date (example 23rd of February) it's suppose to mark that date as pending and added to the requested list. For those that want to look at this for me please go to the link below and use IE7. What am I missing? https://www.truth.com/2006/myaccount/vacation/ Thank you, Ron Mast Truth Hardware Webmaster 507-444-4693 _______________________________________________ Reply to DFWCFUG: [email protected] Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://lists1.safesecureweb.com/mailman/listinfo/list List Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/list%40list.dfwcfug.org/ http://www.mail-archive.com/list%40dfwcfug.org/ DFWCFUG Sponsors: www.HostMySite.com www.teksystems.com/ _______________________________________________ Reply to DFWCFUG: [email protected] Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://lists1.safesecureweb.com/mailman/listinfo/list List Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/list%40list.dfwcfug.org/ http://www.mail-archive.com/list%40dfwcfug.org/ DFWCFUG Sponsors: www.HostMySite.com www.teksystems.com/
