Thanks for the input so far all.

As far as Eclipse, we have a *great* meeting planned for June. Mike Kelp is working Mark Drew to setup a Connect presentation about all of the new goings on with CFEclipse. There are some cool super-secret happenings going on in their camp!

This sounds great. I'd like to have a presentation on CFEclipse.

Mike S. mentioned an introductory OO presentation. I have considered that one recently, but wondered if that one had been covered too much? Would other people find that helpful have some interest in that?

You bet! :o)

Personally, I'd love this topic to come up more and more! (can you guess what I need work on?) I know it's a bit advanced (perhaps) for some users, but if we interspersed it with some How To's (which could range in technical, difficulty) like Mike S. suggested, then all the better.

I wouldn't mind seeing a series of presentations on OO and how to use it's concepts and ideas in ColdFusion. Each presentation could build on the previous one. How's that for incentive to come to each meeting? ;o)

Just my two-cents.

Cheers,
Chris

Keep the suggestions coming!

    Dave,

I would imagine you could spend the whole meeting on happenings from
cf.Obective() and that would be great for us that will not be
attending. Other topics no particular order for this or future
meetings – Eclipse, ColdSpring, - kind of broad but How To's – first
steps to OO, Flex. My two cents any way.

    Meeting next week?

We haven't really discussed it with the Ben Forta meeting falling in
the middle of two normal meeting dates, but there will still be a
meeting next Tuesday night on our regular meeting time. I expect
that it will be a lighter than normal turnout with 3 meetings within
30 days, but I see no reason to cancel unless I will be the only one
there, and even then I do a fairly good job entertaining myself.

Given the fact that we have had great participation from our
members, I have not done a presentation in eons, so I am planning on
doing something for next week. I will be fresh on my return from
cf.Objective() and will probably have my head spinning with all
sorts of new info. A couple of technologies that I plan on soaking
up this weekend are sessions on ColdSpring and Transfer. Would you
guys like to see a presentation on either or these? How about
something else entirely? At this point I am completely open, so if
you plan on attending next week and there is some specific
technology or technique that you are interested in hearing about or
    seeing, please let me know!
