Hi All, I'm running CFMX 7.0.2 on a Windows2003 R2 Service Pack 2 and using MySQL5.0.
I just experienced this today. I needed to add a table to my Truth Training application and one of the field needed to be NUMERIC, as soon as I set the field to numeric and applied changes, it switched to DECIMAL(10,0). Not knowing it did that, I went ahead coded in my insert SQL <cfqueryparam value="#form.formvariable#" cfsqltype=" CF_SQL_NUMERIC">. Yep you are correct, when I ran the page ERROR! I checked the rest of the tables and sure enough it did it to all of them. No big deal having to change my code to <cfqueryparam value="#form.formvariable#" cfsqltype=" CF_SQL_DECIMAL">. What did I do today that triggered this event? I ran ready to update on windows and java. Just letting everyone know incase your application is using MySQL5.0, fields set to NUMERIC, and you used <cfqueryparam value="#form.formvariable#" cfsqltype=" CF_SQL_NUMERIC"> in your SQL.
