In response to on going emails, which brings up
some great questions in regards to the following;

1. Usually the 1 or 2 week of every month is the
business in regards to work and family tasks;
so survey the members for 3 or 4 week usage instead.?

2. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays are the busys in
regards to work and family tasks; so surey the members
for which days of the week from Wed thru Sat. (Yes
Sat.) that works best for them?

3. The time frames should be set for an 3 hour limit;
exept for Sat. (Yes Sat). or survey members for their
time frames sugestions?

4. Roate the monthly meeting between East
Ft.Wort/Irving and some location near
Greater Dallas Downtown Central Expreesway?

5. How about Micro Center off Central Exp. & 635.
It has an hi powered internet connection, projector
ready, computer class rooms. It is somewhat located
just north of Dallas, yet close enought for the
Ft.Worth members as well, accessable for the Dallas
members as well.

6. Another one is the DFW PC Users Group Saturday
Computers Presentation Day, in which their are
segments devoted to different software and programming
packages held hourly throughtout the entire morning,
to around noon. The location has computer labs,
internet access and projection capabilities as well,
as well as an food court. This location would give the
group an more visible access to other programmers and
draw attention to the group other activities as well.

7. Several local sig's meet at univeristies
(SMU),colleges (DCCD) or ITT/ATI locations. Usually
these locations have hi speed internet connections,
over head projector, food court, and its an great way
to recruit NEW members as well?

8. Wouldn't the downtown El Central Campus
servce as an central meeting place, since it offeres
degreeded program in web/net, e-commerce programs and
has an mac-windows labs? Does any one have any
contacts at El Central?

Also, wouldn't the Lakeview Campus that offeres those
weekends Linux,Apachie fast track programs on
Saturdays. It's midcities, projection & internet
connected, food court could serve as an meeting venue
as well? Does any one have an contacats at Lakeview
Campus?

Since most of the emails posted are from current
members, shouldn't we also take into consideration an
venue so that it can attack NEW members as well as
advise the groups present to the local
TI/Programming/Design community at large?

Just an few suggestions,

Joe Cervenka
