Well it’s like a mix of all 4 here. There are three of us in large cubicles in
an old computer lab room with a door that remains closed. We have a nice
conference area also in the corner of the same room with windows. We are also
allowed to work remotely at times.

Subject: [DFW CFUG] Informal poll on working conditions

Hi all,

My entire group back in California is being moved to a new ‘temporary’ location
in a building about 5 miles from the other buildings in our campus. Even
worse, they will be losing their offices and moving into cubicles though they
will have doors. Needless to say, a number of folks are not real happy about
their new home.

I am curious about most folks working conditions. If you have a sec will you
respond with how many of you work in the following:

Office with door
Cubicle
Open room – no privacy
Remote

Thanks in advance for your replies to my informal poll and I will share the
tabulated results with the group.
