Nope not using any embed tags.. I'm simply using:
   <cfform action="thank_you.cfm" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"
name="contact_form" format="flash" skin="haloSilver" id="contact_form"
style="font-size:12px; color:##949e85;" height="800"
scriptsrc="CFIDE/scripts/cfform.js">

  Thanks for the links.

        Could it be because you are using an embed tag but no object tag to
display the SWF? Embed alone is waddayacall "non-standard."

  Here's some guidance on embed/object:

Subject: RE: [DFW CFUG] Flash Forms for Safari

Aha.. I think that in Safari.. Flash is having some BIG problems so I don't
think Flash Forms will work for Mac users? Reason I say this is because I had
Safari 3.0 for Windows open when I was getting ready to reply to this email and
even Yahoo's flash wasn't opening up and it was showing that silly box (just
like I see on all the sites I build that use Flash forms. (see attached). So
I'm sure many of you have ran into this same issue?

On another note.... This is the second time I've missed the Tuesday night
meeting for the group. I really miss it. CF is my love, but lately I'm finding
myself in the .NET arena here at work and Silverlight etc because we're a
Microsoft shop here at match.com . I'm trying to convince them but it aint
workin lol... ( This is not good if you're an Adobe Head like me.. but I will
try to make the next one. Even if i"m not there physically I'm there is spirit.
Hope to see many of you at the next one.

Well I've got Safari 3.0 which should have the latest Flash Player
Installed.

Oblig: Does the version of the Flash Player in Safari synch up with
the
required version for the forms?
