Actually it became two issues which I have resolved. On my old servers I had installed Verity separate from CF 7 and installed to a different drive. When I installed CF8 it installed in the same jrun directory as cf8. When setting up the verity search I was trying to reference the directory like before. Once I set the directory to beinside the cf8 installation things went back to working normally.
