Hi,

I have trouble with the NAT configuration on 2.0RC3. Can someone help?:

This is (roughly) my setup:

Home - pfsense - openVPN client - Internet - openvpn server - server (in a datacenter)

My pfsense box has 3 ethernet interfaces (vr0, vr1, vr2) and runs an Atheros WiFi card (ath0) as access point.

The openvpn interface is tap0 and is running correctly.

vr0 is my WAN interface, configured via DHCP. Works fine. It gets a public IP address from a cable modem.

vr1, vr2, tap0 and ath0 are bridged as br0. br0 is configured with DHCP. It gets its IP from a DHCP server in the datacenter, also works fine. When I connect to the access point provided by the pfsense box with a laptop, the laptop also gets an IP from the same DHCP server without any problem. From the laptop I can ping other machines in the VPN zone without problems. However, I can't ping a public address such as 8.8.8.8 (Google public DNS) from any of the client boxes that connect to the access point. All clients have the pfSense box as default gateway.

Could it be that some NAT rule is missing?

Cheers,
Ray
