The code is in the repo (mainline) for 2.1-DEVELOPMENT but no snapshots yet. Even so, it will be based on FreeBSD 9.x and as yet the patches still haven't been fixed up to compile with 9, so there are no newer binaries than those for FreeBSD 8.1. What people are using 2.1 for is mainly IPv6, which works fine with the same binaries just different code for the GUI/backend.
