For some reason, the timestamps are wrong in /var/log/filter.log.
Within a few seconds, date shows the correct time, however, timestamps
in /var/log/filter.log are ahead by about 9 hours.
/root(4): date
Tue Oct 4 11:28:04 EDT 2011
^^^^^^^^
/root(5): tail -f /var/log/filter.log
Oct 4 20:21:20 gww pf: 113.204.249.7 > [...]
^^^^^^^^
Timestamps are correct in /var/log/system.log
Am I missing the trivial and obvious?
