I am having an issue where a pfSense box slowly keeps increasing it's memory usage.
I have two identical systems in a carp config. The primary over a period of about 5 days increases it's memory usage about 5 to 8%. The secondary system on the CARP cluster does not have the same increase. The state table list is less than 1500 on both systems. If I reboot the primary the memory usage drops back down but the state stays the same. What could be eating the memory. If left un check the system will eat memory until it locks. A reboot sets the memory back down and all is well again. Any ideas on what could cause this? How should I start to trouble shoot this? Thanks Bryant Zimmerman (ZK Tech Inc.) 616-855-1030 Ext. 2003
