Currently, they are still the same thing. We have not switched to FreeBSD9 so these are still valid. If and when FreeBSD9 merges we will still maintain FreeBSD8.1 based 2.1 builds for production until everything checks out again. The images there are built manually, they are not part of the normal snapshots process. > How stable is living on 2.1 in practice? That's because the current 2.1 branch is pretty close to 2.0 still. As of now, it's good.
