This was posted earlier in the forum with little response.
using Pfsense NETGATE as gateway to internet works great no problem PFSENSE lan=192.168.5.1,DHCP for 7-pc's, but specific traffic with ip=200.200.75.182 is set in the routing table to go to another router with ip=192.168.5.50 both routers are connected to the same internet source with static ip's. The second router is managed by another party-ADP. All internet traffic is fine and fast only traffic routed to the second router has the problem, it starts out fine but tend to slow down and stall out before the download is finished. 4-pc's work fine during the same download but 3-other pc's experience the slowdown & stall problem. They only way I have found to fix these 3-pc's is to put a static ip and the gateway of the second router. I have changed out the NETGATE pfsense router, checked all cabling, switches, and power, everything checks also per ADP reload these 3-PC's. same problem. The routing table ip's were supplied by the vendor. It took 5-hours on the phone to this vendor convincing them it was not a pc problem but a network problem. They conceded in the 5th hour coming back with the static ip and gateway setup.
