DNS server. Proxy server. Reverse-proxy server (aka HTTP Accelerator). (...when not using the firewall features, that is. These are all normal add-ons to a firewall.) You can also use pfSense for FreeSWITCH, RADIUS, mail gateway, BGP route reflector, TFTP server, Netflow agent... but these are less common, AFAIK.
