[pfSense] gitsynce to 2.1

I am trying to use 
http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Updating_pfSense_code_between_snapshots 
instructions to add IPv6 to my 2.0.1 box.  However, I am getting a 
@@load of errors when using pkg_add to get gitsync.  I have a unit from 
Hacom and I know they made some slight modifications but I Was told by 
them that the unit I have is essentially stock with some minor changes 
such as logo etc.  Anybody else run into this?
