How difficult would it be to replace PPTP implementations with OpenVPN for mobile users?

WPA2 Enterprise is also broken as a result, if it's configured to use MS-CHAPv2. Somehow I doubt it will stop people from using PPTP, even though it should. PPTP was already considered quite insecure, and that didn't hold very many people back from it.
