I am trying to setup a GRE/IPSEC tunnel using pfsense on one end and a
CISCO router on the other end.
This is a site to site VPN and I need to route some specific trafic via
the GRE tunnel.
I tried to configure the route manually, but in order to do so, I need
to have a gateway. So far so good... So I wen to the gateway page to
setup the peer IP address of the GRE tunnel as a gateway, but the
interface does not indicate the GRE tunnel in the interface list.
As a side note, I have the same issue for firewall rules. However there
I can create "floating" rules that will work properly.
This is somewhat odd, because freebsd represents the GRE tunnel as a
real interface (in my case gre0).
How can make pfsense see the GRE interface as a real interface just like
it should ?
