I've been playing around with trying to get a HE v6 tunnel up on my 2.1-rc0 box and working but I've been less than successful.
I tried to delete it and start over but when I removed gif0 everything went to shit and I lost all of my connectivity. I saw some errors in my logs (e.g. "The command '/sbin/ifconfig gif0 tunnel 216.218.226.238' returned exit code '1', the output was 'ifconfig: 'tunnel' requires 2 arguments'") that made me think I didn't remove things in the correct order. The only way I was able to get things up and running again was to restore a backup config. While I've decided to try to fix what I have done so far and not start over I was wondering what I did wrong when I removed gif0. Did I need to remove the opt1 interface before deleting the gif0 interface? Once I deleted the gif tunnel there didn't seem to be anything that I could do to get things up and running again (aside from restoring the backup). Is there something that I missed?
