Not such a dumb question. That checkbox is in the default state
(unchecked). Hmm... unfortunately, I *do* have multi-WAN, so I *do*
need that.
I suddenly begin to see why static routes on the WAN _and_ multi-WAN
might be incompatible.
And, sure enough, turning that option *on* removes the offending rule.
Damn... I guess I'll be setting up another interface after all!
