Thanks - I'll give that a try.

In this context, it's basically a method of caching things like Windows / Apple updates for an IT company, especially when there are 4 or 5 engineers all working on clients' machines simultaneously. Little point in downloading the same update for each machine over a ~2Mbps ADSL connection :-)

As for as SquidGuard I highly recommend it. The content filtering has
been unstoppable in our home. I challenged the kids to break it and so
far they've been stopped dead on all their typical porn sites. LOL

I'm far from convinced that censoring content is ever the answer, but that's an argument for another thread (and ultimately, your house, your rules :-) ).
