Sorry, we had some file corruption in mailman for this list only, and of course that was the one and only system we didn't have a recent backup of. The best I could do was delete and re-create the list, pull email addresses out of the binary database that was partially corrupted and mass-subscribe them all. There was no means of differentiating digest vs. regular subscribers with what was usable in the file, and the vast majority of people weren't digest subscribers, so those of you who were digest subscribers no longer are. I didn't have any other means of doing so. Doug - not sure how your email address would have ever ended up in this list's database if you were never subscribed. Even unsubscribed addresses shouldn't have been there, only active subscribers. The count added up to roughly what it was last I checked the subscriber count a month or so ago, roughly 1500 people. The only email addresses I subscribed were those that were in the database for this specific list. Though thinking back, I believe you emailed this list at some point from that address, got caught in the moderation queue as a non-subscriber, and I whitelisted your email address so you could post from that one (assuming you were a subscriber under another address, and you obviously weren't a spammer). I had no means of telling what the email addresses in the file were listed as or under, so that scenario may have gotten caught. That's only been done for roughly a handful of people all time, so that shouldn't have impacted very many people if that's what happened. Sorry for the trouble. _______________________________________________ List mailing list [email protected] https://lists.pfsense.org/mailman/listinfo/list
