I have a gateway group of a verizon wireless modem backing up a comcast link.
Right now, pfSense is reporting that the comcast link has 62% packet loss: # cat /var/run/apinger.status 68.85.139.133|74.92.149.57|GW_OPT1|84945|84942|1398169348|58.304ms|62.0%|loss 4.59.144.25|10.165.191.25|WANVZ_PPP|28320|28311|1398169348|47.357ms|0.0%|none manually running the ping right now shows 0% loss: # ping -S 74.92.149.57 68.85.139.133 ... --- 68.85.139.133 ping statistics --- 30 packets transmitted, 30 packets received, 0.0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 36.210/61.815/80.086/11.632 ms I has been in this condition for almost 15 minutes now. The last time I saw something like this (at the time runnint v2.1) I had to restart apinger service and then it brought up the comcast link in the gateway. I'd wait longer to see what happens, but people will start showing up at the office shortly and running everything over VZW is going to be unpleasant... Running pfSense 2.1.2/i386. The interface for the comcast link is an fxp device. Anyone else seeing apinger losing packets while ping doesn't? _______________________________________________ List mailing list [email protected] https://lists.pfsense.org/mailman/listinfo/list
