Hello, I recently built a firewall/router appliance using an ALIX2d13 board, a TP-Link TL-WN861N wireless mini pci adapter, a SanDisk 4GB Extreme compact flash card, and the pfSense 2.1.2-RELEASE-2g-i386-nanobsd image.
Initially, everything went fairly well. I was able to connect via the serial port, ethernet, and wifi. I was able to access the internet as expected. However, after about 10 minutes the gateway went offline and I lost access to the internet. The WAN is always up and has an IP. If I unplug/plugin the cable modem, sometimes the gateway comes back online, but only briefly. If I replace the appliance with my other pfSense box, things immediately work as expected, so I assume it's not the cable modem. How should I begin to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks
