Thanks all for your responses.

I actually have spares. In this case the system is mounted in a
hard-to-reach location and it'd be preferable to upgrade remotely if at
all possible.

Not the end of the world if not -- I did pull the card for the 2.1.1
upgrade -- but I'll check memory and the serial install method first.
