Hi, Chris !

Somehow it does not seem that easy...
But i believe i did not describe correctly what's the matter ;-)

I now have a WAN-Interface em1 (where the old provider was attached to) which
is now orphaned. So i disabled it.
The new provider is attached to em7. The interface is named opt7.
On opt7 there are some VIPs configured.

The dashboard now shows the LAN-graph as standard and i can not unassign em1
from WAN.

So i thought it might be possible to save the XML-config and edit it this way:

1. Swap the <opt7></opt7> and <wan></ wan> tags
2. check for the correct tags (CARP, VIPs, VLANs)
3. restore the config

Are there any caveats or any hints ?

Regards,
martin

Everything is attached to the interface identifier, <wan>, <lan>, <optx>.
Nothing but the wan/lan/optx references the physical interface (plus VLANs or
lagg if you're using them). Move WAN from em1 to em7 and everything on WAN
moves from em1 to em7.
