Sounds like you should use all the features available to you with a pfSense/Ubiquiti install. Setup the printer on it's own VLAN, give access as needed through pfSense. Use the ubiquiti AP to broadcast an internal SSID (with whatever rights you want through pfSense) and an external SSID for guest use.
