"Using the Arts to Empower Women through Connection, Awareness, + Cultural Images that reflect themselves". Femme Fest moves from a lively Music Concert kickoff that brings women together to mix, dance and simply get to know each other, then quickly moves to a provocative Visual Arts Exhibit followed by a convening of like minds in a pot luck discussion round table and finally culminating with an afternoon of one act readings followed by night time dance party. All that rolled into 4 days. Women honoring women's fights, and rights!!

Tru Ruts presents Fly Gyrlz an all female showcase. Curated by one of Twin Cities premier artists, Shá Cage, the show will present a wide range of female artists that have been innovating their genres and keeping the Twin Cities artistic scene vibrant. The show will include hip hop artist Indigo, singer songwriter Ashley Gold, spoken word + hip hop artist, Karma the Oddest Goddess, a new group spearheaded by spoken word priestess Shá Cage, called Dark N Lovely, and others. The evening will also include a dance performance presented by Ellena Scope, and a B Gyrl Jam.

DraMa sKool. Mosaic's newly created developmental series for female playwrights and directors of color in support of the creation and production of new works. Mosaic cultivates playwrights and directors and pairs them with professional dramaturgs and actors towards mounting a one act staged reading of their work. All readings include a one act reading followed by a half hour discussion.
