Curated by Laurie Carlos and e.g. bailey, this latest installment of the series will feature author and poet, Pamela Sneed and choreographer/dancer, Roxanne Wallace among others.The latest performances will be held on November 16th and 17th at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and free for everyone under 16 years of age.
The Late Night Series is curated by Laurie Carlos and e.g. bailey, and presented by Pillsbury House Theater. Non-English Speaking Spoken Here: The Late Nite Series, is a late night performance series which provides a safe and supportive place to experience new work by emerging artists, and promotes a fearless celebration of new voices and new art. This acclaimed series has featured cutting-edge artists such as Carl Hancock Rux, Mike Ladd, Miguel Algarin, Eyedea + Abilities, Will Power, Ishle Park, Denizen Kane, Wumi, and many others. The Late Nite Series is supported by the Jerome Foundation.

Truthmaze was nominated in the 'Best Knowledge Spitta' category, and Child of the Black Madonna was nominated for the Best Band category. The Twin Cities Hip Hop Awards is presented by High Society Ink.

TEHUTI <Divine Speech> Radio Show: From the Griot to the MC
This Tehuti (Divine Speech): The Art Form of Spoken Word, is the original radio show in the emerging Spoken Word Conscious Movement radio format, conceived by e.g. bailey, and developed and hosted since 2002, by e.g. bailey + Sha Cage. It airs Sundays 11:00pm - Midnight on KFAI Fresh Air Radio, 90.3FM in Minneapolis and 106.7FM in St. Paul. Tehuti is a spoken hip hop and conscious music show that presents the Spoken Word Conscious Movement™ from around the globe. It features artists from the Last Poets, Gil Scott Heron, Mos Def, Common, Talib, I Self Devine, Mars Ill, Figureheads, Atmosphere, Zap Mama, Nina Simone, POS, Badu, Nas, Amiri Baraka, De La Soul + many others, including recordings from UK, Serbia, Africa and more. The show as spawned other Spoken Word Conscious Movement radio format shows including Urban Griots (KMOJ/Minneapolis) and Cipher Zone (WORT/Madison), and with a show in development in the UK.
