Fellows and Fellow Travelers: For W's seminar, we will discuss the final three chapters of THE DARKER NATIONS. We should be receiving questions from Monna and Sollem to guide our discussion. This Th night, I would like to take as many of us as can make it to the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts to see the new exhibit, "Call and Response," and to hear the featured artist, Ta-Coumba Aiken, give a gallery talk. This exhibit (see http://www.artsmia.org/index.php?section_id=28exh_id=2584 ) showcases several local African American artists. I'd like us to meet at 6:15pm in the parking lot.
