Hey everyone!

We all hope that you're having a great day (and evening). Please take
note of the questions for tomorrow's discussion:

Who do you think is this book’s intended audience? How does this differ
from Prashad’s Darker Nations?

What do you think about Mann’s use of the word ‘ally in this; “Third
Reconstruction” (page 129)? What does it mean for parallel/united
movements? Where does the word ally fit into the history of third-world
organizing that he discusses in part two?

What, ideologically, would create a more effective and/or powerful
change than “agitational demands,” (152) against the US imperialist
structure? How could this manifest in the realm of third world organizing?

Can Post-Katrina be classified as a Third World Space?

We hope you're staying warm and we will see you in class tomorrow!

Gros Bisous,

Tinbete and Danni
