After my work yesterday and the screenshot confirming hexstrdump was taking a lot of time, I've made another change that only calls hexstrdump in debug cases when openpgp.config.debug = true. This sped up encryption quite a bit for me again.
Please try it out, it only is changed on part of the project at this point, but I plan on changing other debug statements as well.
