Hello everybody,

Clipperz code provides an example of a working asynchronous API for
crypto libraries. Something you may be interested in looking at to see
if you like it or not while defining OpenPGP async calls.

Clipperz implementation also works on browsers without web workers; it
is a shrinking base, but it is still there.
