Hi all,

I am now at the point of having a fully functional prototype of pgpbox. If
anyone is interested in participating in the Alpha Test (and has a Google
Account), just send me your email. You get 100MB of storage to play around
and there's no need to register since I'm using OpenID for Authentication.

Also, I was lucky enough to chat with Philip Zimmermann (Inventor of PGP).
He noted that "pgp" is a trademark of Symantec, while "openpgp" is not. It
seems as though I should change the name of the project in order to avoid
any Trademark Infringement issues. Any Ideas?

Note: He signed his email with "Sent from my iPad"... what a funny PGP
signature ;)

Cheers,
Tankred

PGP is a trademark. It is now owned by Symantec.

Openpgp is not a trademark, or at least not a trademark of Symantec. The
IETF uses it to mean RFC4880. You may use it for openpgp compliant
products. The name PGP may be used as part of the syntax of the ASCII
armor of OpenPGP messages.

I have no connection with PGP anymore since symantec acquired it in 2010.
