What protocol do you use to send your aes-256bit key to the server? 
Did you protect the key upload against Man In The Middle attacks?

So you’re trying to build your own social network? Because I’m only 
establishing a encrypted messaging service over facebook chat. 
Maybe it’s not exactly the same what we’re trying to develop.
