Perhaps you have a folder called 3dgenerator in the folder you are saving
the file 3dgenerator to?
I just tried

on my system and REBOL had no problem with it.
try
>> dir? %3dgenerator
if you get
== true
then you are trying the file to a folder that contains the folder
3dgenerator. With
>> what-dir
you can find which folder REBOL is writing to and
>> list-dir
will list you the 3dgenerator dir (and other files and folders).
