This certainly aligns with my dreams, especially accessing the serial
ports.
I have submitted some ideas on this in the past using feedback.r
Having the newly posted Rebol "App-Talk" capability over any serial port
would be nice for embedded apps.
The base for RS-232 could be very Telnet like, with features built up
from there.
Or console-to-console (for the time being) between machines with just a
null-modem cable
If this were done, Rebol would conquer the embedded space, IMHO.
Hey, just think, RomWack was just a connection to the microkernel Exec
via a serial port.
All embedded systems with RTOS's in them need this type of thing for
debug as well as
more futuristic needs...
