The problem there can be availability and price, even on the used Amigas
(ever looked for one on ebay?)
You can get 386 to Pentium class machines cheaper if you look. And on
those, why not go with Linux? It is 32 bit and multitasking (I've been
starting to play with it on a 8MB 486 in the past month, while using the
Amiga for internet). Of course, this doesn't address the video requirement
(NTSC, PAL, HDTV or whatever) of a set top box. Though converters are
available.
