Hallo,
after some tries I finally managed to get a working proxy setting on my
system. But I had to add a specific line to the user.r file which, at least
to my understanding, should not be necessary.
The following is my user.r file:

Title: "User Preferences"
Date: 29-Oct-1999/20:58:12-1:00
]
set-net [ [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mail.swol.de
mail.swol.de
proxy.konstanz.swol.de
8080
generic
]
system/schemes/HTTP/host: "proxy.konstanz.swol.de"
without the last line, I can not use any http thing. Is this intented?
