great Elan .. i couldnot have said it in a more better way .....
i still think everything in REBOL should be free ...
i do agree that python/tcltk all had some good backing ... but they
wouldnot have survived if they were shit ... open source communnity does
tolerate bullshit .. and when u know that the whole world is going
to see through your thing ... u put in your best efforts...
and BTW .. some one just said that some secret company is funding linus
... and he is well paid ... thats very true ... linus is rich now ...
but he wasnt some two-three years ago .... after linux came in, it took
about 3-4 years for linus to get "paid" for the work .... but he did get
paid .. and now he and his band of followers all over the world is
giving cold sweats to the richest guy in the world .... it did happen ...
i know this is irrelevant here ... but what i want to say is if anyone
wants REBOL to kick ass set it FREE ... all of it... i am sure it will
bring great results .... it worked for perl .. for python ... for
linux... it MUST and WILL work for REBOL ....
and i am not nervous ... i just wanted to end this debate ..... it leads
nowhere ....
