Keep in mind, the mac is a bit (!) more document-centric than other platforms.   In 
that context, it makes sense.  Instead of opening another instance of an application 
when a document is opened, an "apple event" is sent to the already-running application.

Perhaps multiple REBOL consoles could be opened under the same runtime, maybe as 
different threads?  It's an idea...
