You can determine the OS by looking at 'fourth system/version
Currently:
1=Amiga, 2=Mac, 3=Win32, 4=Linux, 5=BeOS, 6-9=Flavours of BSD, 10=Solaris,
11=SGI, 12=HP/UX, 15=WinCE, 17=AIX, 19=SCO Unix, 22=QNX RTOS
