Please note that:
        the-array/c1/c2
    doesn't work for two reasons. The first is that 'c1 and 'c2 weren't
correctly assigned. There was no space after the colon! They should have
been written like this:
        c1: 1
        c2: 1
    Note the space _after_ the colon.
    Second reason, is that 'c1 and 'c2 weren't being evaluated! It should
have been written as:
        the-array/:c1/:c2
    Note the colon before each of 'c1 and 'c2.

Remember that colon after a word sets that word, while a colon before a word
gets the value of that word.

I hope that clears that up.
