It has not been completely solved, but things have become easier.
Delays, paperwork and some restrictions still exist though...

That only applies to the RSA patent. There are other licensing
problems, e.g. involving RC4 and some other protocols, and these
problems don't go away so quickly.

/View currently is not a separate module. A modular approach
is certainly an option for the future though,
