One worthy project is to enhance REBOL.ORG - if anyone is interested
the project page is at
<http://husted.com/rebol-dev/org/>
A related project might the development of a super-Wiki or "sparrow" in
REBOL. There are some notes on that at
<http://husted.com/rebol-dev/>
Toward this end, Bob Racko has been working on an update to Andrew G's
original wiki script. He's already improved the security, and made it
more configurable. You can now create a "wrapper" script with
configuration options that then runs the core script. Really very neat.
See
<http://husted.com/rebol-dev/wiki2-r.txt>
If a significant "open script" project did get under way, it might be
interesting to host it over at SourceForge, where it would be visible
to other programmers.

Soon I will be setting up Paul's Rebol Page to allow users to submit
project
ideas and have the vistors to the site vote on the projects to decide
what
projects should be implemented. After that, everyone will be allowed
to
collaborate on the "project" and create very professional applications.
At
least that is the goal. This will allow and facilitate continued
improvement with some of the best programmers interacting with others
to
develop their Rebol skills as well. This idea is open for comment, so
please post your ideas.
