Hi Stephane,
I think you have to specify that you are opening a directory by
appending a "/" after its name. Here it's an example:
>> change-dir %"/macintosh hd/desktop folder/"
== %/macintosh%20hd/desktop%20folder/
>> open %myfolder
** Access Error: Cannot open /macintosh hd/desktop folder/myfolder.
** Where: open %myfolder
