Hello REBOLers :-) Some questions. 1) How fast is REBOL compared to PERL for example ? 2) How much processor time does it take compared to PERL for the same program/task ? 3) Using it as CGI relacement, how does it rate compared to other CGI alternatives e.g. active server, livewire, cold fusion, Apache mod_perl, PHP, ePERL, server side java Again, how fast and how much processor time is taken up. The reason I am asking is I'm trying to get into support for apache and thttpd and I am going to have to justify using REBOL as opposed to PERL. Some places will insist on PERL but others may be swayed if the benefits are there. Please, I am only interested in actual experience that people have had and used with both REBOL and PERL in practice. The larger the operation (i.s. more hit's per second on the web server, ) the better a comparison. What happened to the REBOL book that was supposed to be released in January ?
